Gestalt Therapy

Individual therapy in English or Spanish.

In Story Arte I offer a confidential, friendly space for you to talk and be heard in a warm, empathic and non judgmental way. My approach is based on the principles of Gestalt therapy and it is client-centred and tailored to your needs. One or a combination of techniques may be used including talking therapy only, Art Therapy, body work (PCI), as well as the wisdom of universal stories and myths and using Symbolic Psychodrama to shed light on your process of individualization. In my therapeutic practice I incorporate Mindfulness from the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).

You may be seeking therapy for many reasons:

  • To nurture growth, personal development, transformation and wellbeing.
  • For support to deal with critical moments in your life like separation, loss or grief.
  • For help in overcoming difficulties and old behavioural patterns that are impeding your progress in life, like anxiety, anguish, fear, depression, phobias, stress or food disorders.

The Therapy Space

Whatever the reason, in Story Arte you will find the support you need to be able to fly above the forest and see the path through the trees. From this global perspective it is easier to connect with your strengths and inner resources to overcome the obstacles on your life journey.
