Mindfulness to Light up the Forest of Life

If we are not synchronised with the rhythms of nature we may fail to notice the fresh buds in spring and the beautiful shades of the autumn leaves. The songs of birds and the leaves whispering to us in the breeze may go unheard and the smell of moist soil, the tangy taste of the fruits of the forest and the springy green moss may not be appreciated in our multi-task world.

The good news is that Mindfulness can be a beacon in the forest of life. Simple exercises of breathing, relaxation, visualization and meditation can help us be in the moment, in the here and now, and feel more alive and in touch with our surroundings. Calmness thrives when we are in the present and not distracted from past events or future plans. In the here and now it is easier to connect with the treasures within our inner landscape, and to see if there is coherence between what we feel, think and do, only then can we live a calm, authentic stress free life with mind, body and emotions aligned.

In Story Arte we take a holistic approach, incorporating material from the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction programme (MBSR) with teachings from Thich Nhat Hahn.
