Jennifer Ramsay firmly believes in the importance of storytelling in education and she is committed to introducing storytelling into mainstream education. She combines her storytelling skills and her experience as an English teacher to offer a wide range of teacher training courses. Teachers learn the basic tools of the narrator and discover many different ways to tell stories like stories with yoga, Chinese shadow puppets, Kamishibais and visualization exercises. Story creation is also covered. The aim is to motivate the teachers to feel confident telling stories in the language classroom. When the seeds of the stories start to sprout teachers normally report feeling renewed, inspired and more connected to themselves, to each other and to their students.
